WHO IS A REGULAR VOLUNTEER?

IT IS DEFINED AS ANYONE HAVING CONTACT WITH CHILDREN AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK (LUNCH MONITORS, COACHES, PREP CATECHISTS, AND CONSISTENT SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS) All copies should be dropped off at the Parish Rectory with attention to Meg Orr.

 

 


1 ~ PA State Police Criminal Record Check
(this must be renewed every 5 years)

This background check can be obtained online with results available within a few minutes.
Once the results are av
ailable, please click on the CONTROL # and then the CERTIFICATION FORM. We need the actual certificate, not the pages that say record check.  Please print & forward a copy of this certificate to the Parish Office in the Rectory.

2 ~ PA Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse Clearance Check

(must be renewed every 5 years)


Once the certificate is emailed to you please print & forward a copy of this certificate to the Parish Office in the Rectory.

3 ~ Disclosure Statement:
(this must be renewed every 5 years)

If you have lived in the State of Pennsylvania for 10 consecutive years or more, please print both pages and sign the 2nd page and Please print & forward a copy of this certificate to the Parish Office in the Rectory.

4 ~ Safe Environment, Part I: Protecting God's Children (in-person or over Zoom) -provides basic facts about child sexual abuse and the adults’ roles in prevention:

5 ~ Safe Environment Part II: Mandated Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse (online) Provides an overview of Archdiocesan reporting procedures for suspected child abuse and Pennsylvania Child Welfare Laws.

This training is mandatory for all new volunteers who have regular contact with children. This training is available online through the Office for Child and Youth Protection website  under “Training Institute” THIS TRAINING IS LIVE AGAIN AS OF 6/30/2021
