Fingerprints

This only applies if you have lived less than ten (10) years in the state of Pennsylvania.

The fingerprint-based background check is a multi-step process. Pennsylvania contracts with IDEMIA (IdentoGo or MorphoTrust) for digital fingerprinting. You can register with IDEMIA and be fingerprinted at an IdentoGo site.

 You may register for an appointment two ways.

You will be asked to provide service codes when you register. 

Service Codes for current and/or prospective school volunteers: 

  • Code for non-public School Volunteers: 1KG6ZJ   

  •  Service Code for all other volunteers:

    • Code for Pennsylvania DHS-Employees age 14 and over: 1KG756

    • Code for Volunteers: 1KG6ZJ
