Altar Servers play a very important role during the Mass. Their role includes: assisting the priest, carrying the cross or candles in the procession, leaders, and encourage youth to become responsible members of their faith community.

Cantors lead the congregation in song during the Mass and in special liturgies. New members are always welcome. New cantors can schedule an audition by contacting Margie Kane. Training is provided.
Choir, Adult

The choir meets weekly on Thursdays at 7:00 PM from the end of September until Trinity Sunday at the 10:30 AM Mass. They sing at special liturgies like Christmas Eve, Holy Week, Easter Sunday, and many of the other celebrations in the parish. Requirements are an ability to carry a tune and blend one's voice with others. The choir sings a wide variety of music, including many modern pieces, traditional hymns, Gregorian chant, and classical choral works. The coordinator of church environment along with other volunteers assist in decorating the church throughout the liturgical year, but especially at Christmas and Easter.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary ministers perform two main tasks, they assist in the distribution of Holy Communion during the Mass and also take communion to the sick and elderly that are homebound. Extraordinary Ministers of Communion are appointed by the Pastor.
Lectors

The ministry of Lector is an important one to the life of the Church in proclaiming and reading God’s living Word. The Word of God speaks to us in a way that enlightens our hearts and minds, and calls us to respond in faith and love. A lector assists in Mass by reading the two scripture readings as well as the intentions of the Mass. Workbooks and workshops are provided to aid those in this ministry.

The liturgy committee helps plan and organize liturgical celebrations throughout the course of the year, especially Advent/Christmas, Lent/Easter and special celebrations throughout the year. Meets eight times a year.

The prayer group meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 PM in room 107 of the school. We pray with people and for people for their spiritual needs, for their healing and for the needs of the world. Our prayer group has served the parish for more than 35 years and we welcome new members to join us anytime.

The Parish C.C.D. Program (Parish Religious Education Program [PREP]) forms the faith of those children attending non –Catholic schools. Instruction is open to children grades 1 through 7. It is important that children begin receiving formal instruction in the first grade. Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist are received in the 3rd grade and Confirmation is received in 7th grade. The program supports the parents or guardians in the endeavor to create authentic disciples of Jesus Christ. The children attend catechism class on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings from September to May. For more information please click here
O.I.C.A. (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Do you or someone you know need to complete their Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation? Do you or someone you know want to learn more about becoming a Catholic? Adults who are desiring to convert to the Catholic faith or who have not received all of their Sacraments of initiation receive instruction that prepares them to become Catholic and/or receive their Sacraments at the Easter Vigil. Rosary Group
The Rosary is prayed Monday through Saturday mornings before the 8:30AM Mass. You are also invited to join the Rosary Group Monday evenings at 7:00PM. Currently this group is meeting online. Check the bulletin for information on how to join and for the password.
Ministry of Hospitality (Ushers)

The duties of a minister of hospitality include: greeting parishioners and visitors as they gather for the celebration of Mass, collecting the offertory donations, distributing Sunday bulletins after Mass, assisting in emergency situations, and inviting parishioners to take part in the presentation of the gifts.

The Pro-Life Committee of our parish is dedicated to fostering a deeper respect for the dignity and sacredness of every human life, from conception to natural death. Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and guided by prayer, we work to support agencies that help mothers and families in need, educate our children about life-affirming values, and pray for those facing difficult decisions. We invite all parishioners to join us in building a culture of life through service, advocacy, and heartfelt solidarity.
