June 21 Weekly Update
Dear Parishioners,
Due to technical issues with our livestream equipment, we will not be able to livestream Sunday Mass this weekend. The repairs may take several weeks to complete, so livestreaming will be suspended until the issue is resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and prayers as we work to restore this service.
Registration for our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) is now open for all children and families. We warmly invite you to join us as we continue forming young hearts in the faith and love of Christ. Take advantage of an early bird discount by paying the registration fee by July 6.
The Rectory office is closed in celebration of Father’s Day. We will reopen on Monday, June 22 at 9:00AM.
After all the Masses this weekend we will celebrate the time Fr. Anthony has shared with us in St. Laurence parish. Please join us as we wish him all the best in his new assignment.
Please note that our daily Masses will be held in the Parish Hall while necessary work is completed in the church. The ceiling will be inspected and tiles will be repaired or replaced as needed. We are grateful for your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and welcoming space for all. The Sunday Masses will be held in the Main Church. Thank you for keeping this project in your prayers.
As part of the culmination of the Eucharistic pilgrimage in Philadelphia, on Sunday, July 5, Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Pérez at the Cathedral and Shrine of St. Katharine Drexel with a 2-mile Eucharistic procession to the St. John Neumann Shrine following the Mass. Jennifer Rose, our Senior Advocate, will be sharing information regarding PRODUCE and STEPS. We encourage anyone interested to learn more about these helpful resources and opportunities.

Estimados feligreses:
La inscripción para nuestro Programa Parroquial de Educación Religiosa (PREP) o catecismo de los niños. Les invitamos cordialmente a acompañarnos mientras continuamos formando los corazones de los jóvenes en la fe y el amor de Cristo. Aprovechen el descuento por inscripción anticipada realizando el pago antes del 6 de julio.
La oficina de la rectoría permanecerá cerrada con motivo del Día del Padre. Reabriremos el lunes 22 de junio a las 9:00 a. m.
Al finalizar todas las misas de este fin de semana, celebraremos el tiempo que el P. Anthony ha compartido con nosotros en la parroquia de San Lorenzo. Acompáñenos a desearle lo mejor en su nueva asignación.
Les informamos que nuestras misas diarias se celebrarán en el salón parroquial mientras se llevan a cabo los trabajos necesarios en la iglesia. Se inspeccionará el techo y se repararán o reemplazarán las placas según sea necesario. Agradecemos su paciencia y colaboración mientras trabajamos para mantener un espacio seguro y acogedor para todos. Las misas dominicales se celebrarán en el templo principal. Gracias por tener presente este proyecto en sus oraciones.
Como culminación de la Peregrinación Eucarística en Filadelfia, el próximo 5 de julio, el Arzobispo Pérez celebrará la Santa Misa en la Catedral Basílica y Santuario de Santa Katharine Drexel. Al concluir la Eucaristía, los fieles están invitados a participar en una procesión eucarística de dos millas hasta el Santuario de San Juan Neumann.
El Obispo Christopher Cooke nos anima de manera especial, como parte de la comunidad hispana, a ser parte de este momento histórico de fe y testimonio público, como una oportunidad para renovar nuestro amor por la Eucaristía y continuar fortaleciendo el espíritu de renovación eucarística en nuestra ciudad.
