September 6 Weekly Update
Dear Parishioners,
The Rectory Office will be closed this weekend in observance of Labor Day. On Monday, September 7, the church will close following the 8:30 AM Mass.
Let us pray for all those who are unemployed or underemployed. May God bless them with dignified and meaningful work, so that they may provide for their families and live with hope and peace.

September 9, 10:30 AM.: Our first of four Homeschool Community Masses will be celebrated. Everyone is welcome! This Mass will incorporate elements similar to our First Friday celebration, including Holy Communion by intinction and the ad orientem posture. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin at approximately 11:30 a.m., following Mass.
September 28-30, 6:30 PM: Join us for our annual Forty Hours Devotion in English. Dan and Tricia Cellucci will lead our evening talks in English each night. Please mark your calendars now and plan to join us for these beautiful days of Eucharistic prayer, reflection, and adoration. To sign up, please use the following link: 40 HOURS
If you know someone age 16 or older who has not yet been baptized or still needs to complete the Sacraments of Initiation, we warmly invite them to join our Adult Faith Formation (OCIA) program. Registration for this year’s program is now open in the parish office. We would be honored to accompany them on their journey of faith as they prepare to receive these beautiful sacraments. Classes will start on Sunday, September 13, after the 11:30 AM Mass.
DELCO MOMS a ministry for mothers and led by mothers. If you are a mom looking for an opportunity to meet other mothers, build friendships, and grow together in faith, we invite you to join us! For more information see the flyer DELCO MOMS
The First-Class Relics of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque will be visiting our Archdiocese this September as part of their nationwide pilgrimage across the United States. This is a special opportunity to venerate the relics of the saint to whom Jesus revealed His Sacred Heart and to deepen your devotion to His infinite love and mercy. Estimados feligreses:
La oficina de la rectoría permanecerá cerrada este fin de semana con motivo del Día del Trabajo. El lunes 7 de septiembre, la iglesia cerrará después de la misa de las 8:30 AM.
Oremos por todas las personas desempleadas o subempleadas. Que Dios las bendiga con un trabajo digno y significativo, para que puedan mantener a sus familias y vivir con esperanza y paz.

9 de septiembre, 10:30 AM: Se celebrará la primera de nuestras cuatro Misas para la comunidad de educación en casa (homeschool). ¡Todos son bienvenidos! Esta Misa incorporará elementos similares a nuestra celebración del Primer Viernes, incluyendo la Sagrada Comunión por intinción y la postura ad orientem. La exposición del Santísimo Sacramento comenzará aproximadamente a las 11:30 AM, después de la Misa.
28 al 30 de septiembre, 6:30 PM: Acompáñennos en nuestra devoción anual de las Cuarenta Horas. Carlos García y Jacob Sanz dirigirán las charlas vespertinas cada noche. Marquen sus calendarios desde ahora y planeen acompañarnos en estos hermosos días de oración eucarística, reflexión y adoración.
Espero ver a muchos de ustedes en estas celebraciones mientras, juntos, seguimos acercándonos más a Nuestro Señor en la Eucaristía.
Si usted conoce a una persona mayor de 16 años que necesite bautizarse o completar sus sacramentos, favor pasar a la rectoría para inscribirse a las clases de catecismo para los adultos (OICA). Sería un honor para nosotros acompañarlos en su camino de fe mientras se preparan para recibir estos hermosos sacramentos.
Las reliquias de primera clase de Santa Margarita María Alacoque visitarán nuestra Arquidiócesis este mes de septiembre como parte de su peregrinación nacional por los Estados Unidos. Esta es una oportunidad especial para venerar las reliquias de la santa a quien Jesús reveló su Sagrado Corazón y para profundizar en la devoción a su amor y misericordia infinitos. La Arquidiócesis les invita a la Misa Puertorriqueña el jueves 24 de septiembre del 2026, comenzando a las 6:30 PM con una procesión y el rosario.
