June 14 Weekly Update

Dear Parishioners,

Registration for our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) is now open for all children and families. We warmly invite you to join us as we continue forming young hearts in the faith and love of Christ. Take advantage of an early bird discount on the registration fee by paying by July 6.

Thanks for praying together in preparation for the consecration of our parish to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Tomorrow, Friday, June 12, after the 8:30 AM Mass, and at 7:30 PM in Spanish, we will have the formal consecration of our parish to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, uniting ourselves spiritually with the consecration of the United States that the nation's bishops will carry out the day before. May this be a special moment of grace, renewal, and encounter with the merciful love of Christ for everyone.

Father’s Day cards are available. Please feel free to take as many as you need. If you wish, you may include a donation and return the envelopes with the names of the fathers you would like to remember in prayer. These names will be placed upon the altar, and on Father’s Day we will offer special prayers for all fathers, living and deceased at the Masses.

Thanks to all who have filled their baby bottles with cash or check as a donation to the Mothers’ Home.  The filled bottles should be returned this weekend only.  Pro-life committee members will be collecting them after Masses.

Please note that beginning June 15, our daily Masses will be held in the Parish Hall while necessary work is completed in the church. The ceiling will be inspected and tiles will be repaired or replaced as needed. We are grateful for your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and welcoming space for all. The Sunday Masses will be held in the Main Church. Thank you for keeping this project in your prayers.

Jennifer Rose, our Senior Advocate, will be sharing information regarding PRODUCE and STEPS. We encourage anyone interested to learn more about these helpful resources and opportunities.

Noticias de la Semana - 14 de junio

Estimados feligreses:

La inscripción para nuestro Programa Parroquial de Educación Religiosa (PREP) o catecismo de los niños. Les invitamos cordialmente a acompañarnos mientras continuamos formando los corazones de los jóvenes en la fe y el amor de Cristo. Aprovechen el descuento por inscripción anticipada realizando el pago antes del 6 de julio.

Gracias por orar juntos en preparación para la consagración de nuestra parroquia al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Mañana, viernes 12 de junio, después de la Misa de las 8:30 a. m. y a las 7:30 p. m. en español, llevaremos a cabo la consagración formal de nuestra parroquia al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, uniéndonos espiritualmente a la consagración de los Estados Unidos que los obispos de la nación realizarán el día anterior. Que este sea un momento especial de gracia, renovación y encuentro con el amor misericordioso de Cristo para todos.

Ya están disponibles las tarjetas para el Día del Padre. Siéntase libre de tomar tantas como necesite. Si lo desea, puede incluir un donativo y devolver los sobres con los nombres de los padres que quisiera recordar en sus oraciones. Estos nombres se colocarán en el altar y, en el Día del Padre, ofreceremos oraciones especiales por todos los padres, vivos y difuntos, durante las Misas.

Gracias a todos los que han llenado sus biberones con efectivo o cheques como donativo para el Hogar de Madres (*Mothers’ Home*). Los biberones llenos deben devolverse únicamente este fin de semana. Los miembros del comité provida los recogerán al finalizar las Misas.
