May 3 Weekly Update
Dear Parishioners,
Let us keep in our prayers all the adults that are completing their sacraments this weekend, and those who already completed their sacraments last month. May the Holy Spirit guide them in their faith journey.
GIVE EVERYTHING TO JESUS THROUGH MARY DURING THE MONTH OF MAY - We will prepare for the Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary, May 1 through May 31. Send a text message with the word CONSECRATION to 84576. You will receive a text message with the meditation for every day.
Mother’s Day cards are now available. Please feel free to take as many as you need. If you wish, you may include a donation and return the envelopes with the names of the mothers you would like us to remember in prayer. These names will be placed on the altar, and on Mother’s Day, we will offer prayers for all mothers—both living and deceased.
All youth in 6th through 12th grade are invited to a special morning retreat on Saturday, May 2, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 noon at St. Laurence Church, led by Fr. DeLacy. Join us for a meaningful time of prayer, reflection, and community as we grow closer to Jesus through Mary. Please use the QR code on the flyer to register. Estimados feligreses:
Tengamos presentes en nuestras oraciones a todos los adultos que completan sus sacramentos este fin de semana, y a aquellos que ya los completaron el mes pasado.
Ya están disponibles las tarjetas del Día de la Madre! Puede tomar las que necesite. Si lo desea, puede hacer una donación y entregarnos los sobres con los nombres de las madres que desea encomendar. Colocaremos estos nombres en el altar y, el Día de las Madres, oraremos por todas ellas, tanto vivas como difuntas.
Durante el mes de mayo, la Legión de María invita a todos los niños y sus familias a rezar el Santo Rosario en la iglesia a las 5:00 PM, de lunes a viernes, comenzando este viernes. ¡Los esperamos!
Todos los jóvenes de 6.º a 12.º grado están invitados a un retiro matutino especial el sábado 2 de mayo, de 8:30 a. m. a 12:00 del mediodía, en la Iglesia San Lorenzo, dirigido por el Padre Delacy. Acompáñennos en un tiempo de oración, reflexión y comunidad, mientras nos acercamos más a Jesús a través de María.
